Nelson Carvalheiro is a travel writer, photographer, and filmmaker recognized for his territorial storytelling, which delves deeply into specific regions. After a career in luxury hotel management, he now focuses his efforts on documenting places and cultures through evocative narratives and imagery. His approach is grounded in authenticity and human connection, capturing the true character of a place through its people, gastronomy, and intimate details. He frequently explores cultural identity as expressed through food, highlighting "peripheral Portugal" where traditional culinary practices thrive beyond major cities.
